THE HEAD OF VIS GROUP IGOR SNEGUROV AND THE GOVERNOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARELIA ARTUR PARFENCHIKOV DISCUSS CURRENT AND FUTURE PROJECTS

In may last year, VIS Group and the Republic signed an agreement on the creation of a modern complex for the production of crushed stone at the Bratskoye field. The project was prepared in 2012 and has since become significantly outdated in terms of technology and regulatory requirements. Today, the cost of the updated equipment is estimated, a new project is submitted to Glavgosexpertiza. Artur Parfenchikov told about another field of crushed stone with reserves of about 1.2 billion cubic meters on the White sea, the development of which will help to meet the needs of the Arctic region. The parties agreed to analyze the possibilities of cooperation on the new project.

In addition, VIS Group and the Republic of Karelia are working on the modernization of the embankment in Petrozavodsk. The existing retaining wall is annually washed away by water, and its height does not allow to protect the improvement of the embankment from bad weather. This makes it impossible for people to have a safe holiday, as well as hinders the comprehensive development of the surrounding areas. VIS Group already has a successful experience in creating such complex infrastructure facilities in Yaroslavl and Astrakhan, and last year the first stage of the embankment in the Northern city of Tarko-Sale was inaugurated. The implementation of the project allowed to form a safe coastline and create a new city landmark.
